Why would I need a dyslexia specialist?

 

Dyslexia is a very complex area of learning, and unfortunately, during teacher training, there is not an in-depth dive into the area, therefore only someone who has undergone further specialist training will have the knowledge on how best to teach students who have, or may have, dyslexia.

I adopt a multi-sensory approach to my teaching to ensure that I can give the students the best possible chance of being successful in what they would like to achieve.
